Big hART's Skate of Mind are taking up residence at The Vault Dairy Road for two weeks, culminating in a show of skateboarding and projection mapping.

Young people are invited to explore the nexus between skateboarding, animated image, music and environmentally threatened locations.

Pop-up events will engage people across Canberra skateparks and other locations, plus a showing of SKATE - a new performance work in progress at the Vault.

The SKATE showing will include: skateboarding; screenings of skaters in unusual environmentally threatened locations across Eastern Australia; music generated by skateboarding; a short version of a new hybrid performance work bringing together musicians, animators, skateboarders and sound designers.
