Join us for an intimate evening with Ella Mittas and Canteen.

Chef and food writer Ella Mittas is coming to Canberra for one night only, for a special dinner collaboration with Canteen. This event marks the release of Ella's cookbook 'Ela! Ela! To Turkey and Greece, a journey home through food' - published by Murdoch Books – which will be available to purchase on the night.

Ella's career in food draws on her Greek heritage and experience working in kitchens around the world. She has worked under Brigitte Hafner, Annie Smithers and Ismail Tosun in Australia, and honed her skills in London at NOPI, in Tel Aviv at Romano and in Istanbul at Lokanta Maya.

The menu will include favourites from Ella's cookbook alongside fusion dishes created by Canteen, combining Japanese flavours with Greek cooking techniques. All will be made with fresh, local ingredients and lovingly prepared by Ella and the team at Canteen.
